Basic Salary

Grade: 04

Key Responsibility Areas: 

• Prepares for the days work ensuring that tools, materials and equipment are collected. 

• Attends to the felling, cuttings and pruning of trees and woody vegetation within allocated area. 

• Maintains allocated small plant and equipment in a clean and functional condition. 

• Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Assists members of the general public.

Essential Requirements: 

• An appropriate level of primary education. 

• Competency certificates for the following: cherry picker, chain saw, woodchipper, stump grinder, climbing & tree felling, crane and chemical    spraying or obtainable within 6 months of being appointed.

 • 6 Months relevant experience. 

Preferred Requirements: 

• An appropriate level of secondary education. 

• 1 Year relevant experience.
