Requirements
An appropriate 3-year B-degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in financial accounting; a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in financial accounting or a similar working environment; a valid driving licence (Code B or higher).NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Financial norms and standards; financial delegations, procedures, and instructions; Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA). Skills needed: Computer literacy in the MS Office package (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); written and verbal communication; numerical; systematic approach.
Duties
Maintain programmes to maintain the Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA); Prepare financial reports; Accounting for assets, liabilities, revenue, expenditure, budget statement, disclosure notes and accounting policies; Regulatory, policy, governance frameworks and tactical advice; Change management in operating and systematic processes.
