VACANCY MANAGER: LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS * A relevant 3 year tertiary qualification * Computer Literacy * Code B Driver’s License * 5-8 Years relevant experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *Develop and implement the municipality’s Local Economic Development Strategy in alignment with the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) *Identify and promote investment opportunities, SMME development, and public-private partnerships *Facilitate stakeholder engagement with business forums, government departments, and development agencies *Manage LED projects, including funding applications, project implementation, and monitoring *Promote tourism, agriculture, and industrial development initiatives *Prepare reports, budgets, and performance plans for the LED unit. CORE MANAGERIAL & OCCUPATIONAL COMPETENCIES *Must have a proven experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and economic research.
