    Job Purpose

    The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render an office manager service to the Chief Director (CD).

    Minimum Requirements

    An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification National Diploma (B-degree or higher qualification); A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.

    Provide a secretarial/receptionist support service to the manager; Renders administrative support services; Provides support to manager regarding meetings; Supports the manager with the administration of the manager’s budget; Studies the relevant public service and departmental prescripts/policies and other documents and ensures that the application thereof is understood properly; Establish and maintain a business information system on matters of a transversal nature in terms of quality; innovation; standards and analysis, including relevant research; Manage the CFO support office; Knowledge management assessment for the Chief Directorate with regard to the File plan, document control and reporting.
