    Requirements

    Grade 12 with Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification that qualifies the candidate for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse and Midwife. Relevant experience as a Professional Nurse in Clinical Forensic Medical Services and Midwifery is required. Willingness to attend court proceedings is essential. A valid driver's licence and the ability to drive will serve as an added advantage.Candidates must be computer literate and demonstrate strong report-writing, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure. A sound understanding of the legislation and regulatory frameworks governing Clinical Forensic Medical Services is essential. Applicants must provide proof of current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.

    Duties

    Coordination of optimal, holistic specialized nursing care provided for survivors of gender-based violence within set standards and professional/legal framework. Manage effectively the utilization and supervision of resources including human and financial resources. Promote stakeholders’ collaboration, Provision of administrative and educational services through completion of statistics, ensuring safe keeping of records, health promotion and awareness campaigns relating to gender-based violence. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development and development of staff members. Generate weekly and monthly reports.
