Must have a minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in conducting and reviewing academic research, Five (5) years’ experience in research ethics committees. A valid driver’s license. An impressive publication record (minimum of 5 peers reviewed journal articles. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: The successful candidate must have: an impressive publication record (minimum of 5 peer-reviewed journal articles) Excellent writing and communication skills. Professionalism. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be required to: Reviewing and approving research ethics applications; Reporting to the Executive Committee and contributing to annual reports; Monitoring compliance with ethical principles and verifying researcher qualifications; Investigating any allegations of misconduct; Ensuring research proposals align with MKRI’s mandate and academic standards; Coordinating with related research committees to uphold research integrity Reviewing and approving research ethics applications; Ensuring researchers are qualified and experienced. Investigating and reporting scientific or technical misconduct. Reviewing research proposals, surveys, and questionnaires to align with MKRI’s mandate, values, and academic standards. Ensuring ethical integrity without replacing the researcher’s responsibility for ethical conduct. Working in coordination with other internal research committees. Maintaining the Institute’s and government’s integrity through ethical oversight.
