    Requirements

    Appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-degree) in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology; A minimum of 3 years’ experience at managerial level within a human resource management environment. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: National and Provincial instruments and legislation pertaining to human resources management with specific reference to the Public Service Amendment Act, Public Service Regulations and Labour Relations Act, all Bargaining Council resolutions and Public Service Commission (PSC) guidelines; Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of people management work; Ability to travel for various meetings and maintain flexible work schedule; Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily challenges; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

    Duties

    Provide a talent acquisition consulting service and service benefits support in respect of Heads of Departments, senior managers and employees within ministerial offices; project management, quality control of and report on all work within the Priority Unit; Ensure the publication of advertisements in various media; Facilitate the compilation of advertisements and pre-selection questionnaires; Facilitate the recruitment and selection process, inclusive of shortlisting, case studies, competency-based interviews, competency assessments and personnel suitability checks.
