SPORT AND RECREATION UNIT CHEERLEA DING COACH – REF: AD75 FIXED TERM CONTRACT: 03 MONTHS READVERTISEMENT Key Performance Areas: • Plan and conduct structured training sessions. • Recruit and identify potential student-athletes. • Develop athletes’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills. • Analyze performance and implement improvement strategies. • Choreograph routines for performances and competitions. • Prepare and guide the team for varied events. • Ensure athlete welfare, including academic-sport balance. • Ensure compliance with university and sport federation regulations. • Submit administrative documents (attendance, reports, entries, injury logs). • Uphold professional conduct, fair play, and ethical coaching standards. Minimum Requirements: • Grade 12 • Proven experience in cheerleading (coaching or participation) • First Aid Certificate • Valid Police Clearance • Valid Safeguarding certificate • Background in dance, gymnastics, or related field (advantageous) • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends ______________________________________________________________________ Salary Scale: R4 500.00 – R5 500.00 No Benefit CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Application requirements: 1.
