| Centre / Location | HEAD OFFICE (MMABATHO) REQUIREMENT: Matric (Grade 12) certificate plus appropriate Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6/7) in Safety Management or equivalent qualification. Training in SAMTRAC will be an added advantage. Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience. Two (2) years must be in a supervisory (salary level 7/8) level. A valid driver’s licence. KNOWLEDGE: Thorough knowledge of the legislative and regulatory environment informing workplace safety but not limited to: Good knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993, Labour Relations Act,1995, Basic Conditions of Employment Act,1997, General knowledge of the health and safety environment., PSA Employee Health and Wellness Strategic Framework and its Objectives, Knowledge of COID Act and PFMA. COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Proven report-writing and presentation skills. Proven management skills related to the preparation, implementation and management of the strategic, operational and financial plans and projects. Proven computer literacy, including advanced MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. The ability to maintain positive interpersonal relations and work as part of a team as well as individually. Analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure. Problem solving abilities. 10 |
