Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate. An appropriate 3-year diploma/degree in Supply Chain
Management or equivalent Qualification with 3-year experience in Asset Management or Supply Chain Management. A valid driver's license and ability to drive. knowledge and working experience in PFMA, Asset management policies, Computer skills. ability to work under pressure. good interpersonal and communication skills. must be in good health and be able to function well in a team. Candidates will be subjected to competency test.
Duties
Ensure that all new assets are bar coded. Ensure that new
acquisitions are recorded in assets register. Implement control measure for safeguarding assets. Monitor the movement of assets. Coordinate the activities of the disposal committee. Submit unserviceable, redundant and obsolete assets to the disposal committee for approval. Reconcile assets register with BAS. Facilitate movement of assets and transfer documents. Conduct spot checks and asset verification. Ensure all rooms have inventories and movement of assets is reported.
Compile and submit monthly reports to central office.
Coordinate and conduct annual asset verification of all assets in the institution and compile final verification report for approval.
