Remuneration

R 144 024 - R 169 656 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).

Competencies (knowledge/skills)

Good interpersonal skills. Good verbal, as well as written communication skills. Appropriate knowledge with the use of the cleaning equipment, cleaning materials and cleaning detergents and stock.

Minimum educational qualification

Basic literacy and numeracy.

Duties (key result areas/outputs)

Deliver an effective, efficient and safe hygiene and domestic services in a hospital environment. Contribute to effective management of domestic responsibilities. Effective and efficient Waste Management. Participates in linen management. Contributes to effective utilization and functioning of consumables, apparatus and equipment. Renders optimal support service to Household supervisor.

Experience

Appropriate cleaning experience in a hospital environment.

Inherent requirements of the job

Willingness to work overtime, shifts including night shift, weekends and on public holidays. Willingness to handle buff machine, etc. Ability to handle heavy objects. Willingness to work in a team and rotate around the hospital.
