Requirements
Matric. NQF Level 4 Certificate in Civil Engineering. A valid Trade Test Certificate. A valid Code 10 Drivers Licence. Two (2) years relevant experience. Experience in Concrete Works Bridge Construction/Low Water Crossing and Supervision. Ability to read and interpret Engineering Plans Drawings and Technical Specification. Incumbent must be physical fit. Must be prepared to work extended hours as and when required. Must be a team player. Must be able to work under pressure. Understanding of Batho Pele Principles.
Duties
Erect formwork for concrete, decks, Steel Reinforcement. Bridge Rehabilitation and Repairs. Site preparation: setting out of works. Safety compliance: Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations. Supervision of teams. Implementing the Maintenance Programmes for low water crossing and bridges. Concrete works.
