Matric/Senior Certificate/Grade 12 ? Diploma/ Degree in General Nursing that allows registration with the ‘South African Nursing Council’ (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. ? Current proof of registration with SANC in General Nursing ? SANC receipt 2026 ? Proof of current and previous work experience endorsed and stamped by HR Department. RECOMMENDATION ? Advanced Diploma in Midwifery will be added advantage KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED ? Knowledge of nursing care processes and procedures, nursing statutes and other relevant Legal framework such as Nursing Act, OHS Act, Batho Pele principles and Patient Right Charter, Labour Relations Act. ? Leadership, organizational, decision making and problem solving abilities. Interpersonal skills including public relations, negotiating, conflict handling and counselling. ? Financial and Budgetary knowledge. ? Good insight of procedures and policies pertaining to nursing care. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS ? Provision of quality nursing care through the implementation of nursing process approach. ? Maintain accurate and complete patients records according to legal requirements. ? Utilize human, material and physical resource effectively and efficiently. ? Provide safe and therapeutic environment as laid down by nursing act, occupational health and safety act and all other reviews. ? Ensure compliance with National Core standards [6 priorities].
