The Senior Manager: Remuneration, HC Policies, and Systems is responsible for the strategic management and continuous improvement of SEDFA’s remuneration and benefits framework, human capital policies, and HR information systems.
Requirements
Qualifications NQF Level 8 in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Business Administration. NQF Level 9 in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or Business Administration as an advantage. Registration with the SARA / SABPP or a similar professional body would be an advantage. Experience A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Capital, with at least 3 years at a management level, specifically focused on remuneration, HC policies, and HC systems. Demonstrated experience in solving complex problems and developing long-term strategies based on insights from data, metrics, and statistical analysis. Proven experience in implementing automation tools and digital solutions within an HC environment. Understanding of end-to-end HC processes, including payroll Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of HC processes and procedures specific to remuneration, policy development, and system management. Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to analyse complex data related to remuneration, policy effectiveness, and system performance to make informed decisions and identify trends. Duties
Lead the design, development, and implementation of fair, equitable, and competitive remuneration and benefits frameworks for SEDFA. Lead the development, review, and implementation of comprehensive Human Capital policies, codes of conduct, and operational procedures in accordance with applicable legislation (e.g., Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, POPIA Act) and best practices Manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of reliable Human Capital Information Systems (HCIS) to support SEDFA’s business strategy and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all HC-related administration, regulations, and policies for SEDFA. Contribute to the development and monitoring of service level frameworks, SLAs, and KPIs for remuneration, policy, and system-related HC services, ensuring accountability and performance transparency.
