EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT : PERMANENT
SALARY SCALE : R398, 590.00 – R517, 397.00 PER ANNUM (PLUS BENEFITS)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Matric.
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy current) or any relevant qualification at NQF 6.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.
• At least 5 years work-related experience in Electricity Network Design and MV/LV Reticulation.
• Valid registration with ECSA as a Professional Technician.
• Valid EB Driver's LICENSE.
• Proof of Computer Literacy
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (Include but not limited to):
• Perform pre – feasibility designs by considering the client’s user requirement specification as well as technology trends including those from Original Equipment Manufacturers.
• Perform concept, basic and detailed designs in compliance with stakeholder requirements, relevant standards, and other design criteria to achieve an optimal asset base.
• Perform design analyses on design alternatives to aid the design decision.
• Liaises with external consultants on the scoping, progress, quality, and modifications to designs.
• Complies and contributes to the documentation of design packages.
