EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT : PERMANENT
SALARY SCALE : R398, 590.00 – R517, 397.00 PER ANNUM (PLUS BENEFITS)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Matric.
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy current) or any relevant qualification at NQF 6.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years work-related experience in Electricity Network Planning and MV/LV Design.
• Valid registration with ECSA as a Professional Technician.
• Valid EB Driver's License.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS ( Include but not limited to):
• Provide Network Planning ( Master Planning, Network development Planning, load Forecasting, Cost of Supply) inputs for capital Development programs, and new customer applications.
• Develop and maintain long-medium and short- term load growth for all distribution feeders.
• Identify future distribution load zones/ centre's based on existing and future load growth.
• Analyse, align and integrate capital expansion, strategic & refurbishment plans to align with the Master Planning and Network Development Planning outputs.
• Perform and contribute to technical studies that could lead to new or improved solutions, practices, and processes for use in the Municipality.
• Participate and contribute to the design and liaise with stakeholders on technical inputs, user requirements, scoping, prioritization, work planning and costing.
